Everything you have ever seen has existed in someone’s mind before it existed in reality.
The most powerful things in our lives are first visualized. When it comes to visualizing our ideal day, most of us don't take the time to visualize how we want to feel when we are doing our work or how we want to wake up. We don't take the time to visualize anything so we are constantly at the mercy of the day. We should use our mind to dictate our day by taking the time to create how we want to feel about our day. Instead, we let our day dictate how we feel in our mind. Your day might not be the exact way you visualize it but you are giving yourself the energy to go through the day no matter what the day throws at you.
If you want to be productive, you need to plan your next day the night before, with visualization, then you will wake up with that program. When you get into bed that is the time to visualize the next day. Program how you are going to wake up – program in your mind to feel energized. Once you wake up, say these affirmations, "I’m rested, energized, focused and healthy."
Before you go to bed, plan your next day – don’t wait until the morning. Plan your productivity schedule the night before with the 3 P's) .
· Plan day 1 part of a project you want to achieve. Which part of a project?
· Plan for one person you want to connect with (speak, text or message) Which person to get in touch with? Who brings you joy.
Choose 1 thing you will do for your own presence– this is for you to choose an activity to help you be more present with yourself ex. meditation, listen to a podcast, take a bath, get a massage, read a book. What act of presence?
Each one needs you to answer these questions to help you break them down even more. Get really precise with - Where? When? What? How? Why? Do this a week in advance is which should be good enough. Best to do on Sundays to prepare for the upcoming week.
It is better to have 1 project split in over 10 days than have 10 projects split in over 10 days. Bill Gates says “We overestimate what we can do in one year and underestimate what we can do in 10 years. We overestimate what we can do in 1 day and underestimate what we can do in 10 days. We make the mistake of taking on too much at once. If the self is happy your work will be great. Make sure you write all of this down. The more you plan the more you win! If you want to be productive you need to get into the details. This, my friends, will help you achieve your goals and be more productive!
